Blu Whelan

Carey Shaughnessy

Clive Savacool

  • Riding experience:  Both street and track riding since 2004, started in the Keigwins Novice School. 
  • Racing experience: Two years racing motorcycles in the AFM, Kart racing champion from the 90's, raced Formula Mazda's with the SCCA (Regional and National) and Star Mazda West Coast Series with multiple wins and rookie of the year title in 2006.
  • Teaching experience: First year (2009) teaching with K@TT
  • Schools attended: Jim Hall Kart Racing School, SCCA Licensing school, and all the Keigwin's Schools offered!
  • Bike types: Suzuki GSXR 750 (best track bike ever!), KTM 525EXC, Ducati ST4S... Though I miss my RC51
  • Particular teaching interests:  Teaching smooth, relaxed riding.  Learning the bike's limits.  Getting past the anxiety and enjoying the moment!

Eddy Gonzales

Ernie Montague

  • Riding experience: I started riding in 1963, on a Vespa 150GS. It was great fun, but I broke the driveshaft dirttracking it in Isla Vista fields. I also crashed it once running from the campus police when I was using footpaths as a shortcut. My next bike was a Ducati 250 that I owned when I lived in Big Sur. Currently I have several SV's and a VFR800.
  • Racing experience: I started racing with the AFM about twenty years ago, and have quit forever four times.
  • Teaching experience: Instructed for CLASS schools for a couple of years, and assisted with 3J's trackday events, K@TT since 2009.
  • Schools attended: Class, PTT, Keigwin's and Doug Chandler
  • Bike types: I have owned too many bikes to list. I owned and raced Nortons for awhile, had four of them.
  • Particular teaching interests: I really like to encourage students to try and encounter the track as a place to have fun at. I stress that relaxation and enjoyment are more important than stressing out and worry about performance.

Harley Barnes

  • Riding experience: Racing since 1991 AMA & AFM
  • Racing Experience: Includes three 1st place finishes, three 2nd place championships & four 3rd place championships in various classes
  • Teaching experience: With K@TT since 2005
  • Bike types: Suzuki GSXR1000.
  • Particular teaching interests: Cornering, braking & using reference points


Ginny Cutler

  • Riding experience: Rode my Ducati out to Sturgis one year and broke down on the way back. Shocking, I know.
  • Racing experience: AFM from 1998- 2006, 250 Production, 250 Superbike, 500 Twins, 450 Superbike, Formula 1, 600 Production, 600 Superbike and Formula 40.
  • Other clubs raced: CCS, ARHMA, & the club that used to put on the annual Steamboat Springs Event.
  • Teaching experience: Riding: Keigwins Novice, Intermediate and Race Schools. Non-Riding: BA and Masters level Psychology courses, Mental Health related workshops, Diversity and Cultural Competence, Training & Supervision of Clinical Therapists and other Mental Health Professionals.
  • Schools attended: Almost all of them over the years, but I most valued Freddie Spencer school. I also like Rich Olivers school and Danny Walkers Supercamp.
  • Bike types: Bikes raced: VTR 250, Kawasaki EX 500, SV 650, CBR400RR, Yamaha R6. Dont really ride street anymore.
  • Particular teaching interests: Body position, race starts, helpful strategies for the female rider, particularly if she is petite.


Hollis Adams

  • Riding experience:10+ years (dirt and street) including touring on my Goldwing pulling a Bushtec trailer
  • Racing experience: Racing with the AFM
  • Teaching experience:With K@TT since 2010

  • Bike types: GSXR1000
  • Particular teaching interests: Carrying corner speed, precision throttle control, understanding the concepts of traction control, visualizing your ride before getting on the track, identifying your turn-in points, braking/shifting and markers.


James Evans

  • Riding experience: Racetrack riding since 2000

Jeff Viets

  • Riding experience: Since 1988(street with lots of 2- up), since 2001 (track)
  • Teaching experience: K@TT since 2002, sales training (in wireless and professional audio), swimming instruction

Jesse Carter

  • Riding experience: Tearing up on two wheels since 1996, the day I got my license!
  • Racing Experience: Two years of hard fought battles in the AFM! Racing 750 Production, 750 Superbike, Open Superbike, Open Production and Formula1
  • Teaching experience: One year with Keigwins (since 2007)Passing out daily life lessons for free!
  • Schools attended: Every Keigwins school there is!
  • Bike types: Suzuki GSXR750 & GSXR1000. Also have / owned CRF 450, Pitster Pro 140 and a Harley Davidson Softail! Oh and am a master of the Honda Ruckus :-)

John Daley

  • Riding experience: Since 1980 (street), 2002 (track)
  • Racing experience: 2005 AFM 600 Superbike 6th place overall, 2006 AFM 4-hour endurance event

Lance Keigwin

  • Riding experience: Since 1971 (street), 1996 (track)
  • Teaching experience: 7 years with STAR Motorcycles, 8 years with K@TT schools, 4 years college (computer science), 10 years swimming (AAU and NCAA racing)

Linda Keigwin

  • Riding experience: Signed up for MSF in 1995 before I had even been on the back of a bike! Addicted to the racetrack since 1997
  • Racing experience: Just in 10K's & Marathons :-)
  • Teaching experience: K@TT schools since 1999, corporate networking and configuration training
  • Schools attended: STAR, CLASS
  • Bike types: EX250, 600F3, ZX6R, 996S, F4S Strada, R6, 400RR, 749S, GSXR600, SV650
  • Particular teaching interests: Overcoming new rider jitters, safe lines, relaxing on the bike and getting comfortable moving around (gotta use those legs and your stomach muscles!)


Mark Elrod

  • Riding experience: Since 2002 (street), 2004 (track)
  • Racing experience: 4 years with the AFM in 450 Superbike, 450 Production, and Formula IV. 450 Production Class Champion, wins in 450 Superbike and 450 Production

Mark Landes

  • Riding experience: 30+ yrs. Started riding dirt in 1968, on the street in 1980, then on the track in 2001 :-)
  • Racing experience: Only in the K@TT race schools! Fun stuff.
  • Teaching experience: With K@TT since 2008
  • Bike types: Current bikes - GSXR750 & BMW R1100s; my first bike was a Bultaco 125
  • Particular teaching interests: Lines, body position & passing, breathing and relaxing on the bike!


Martin Szwarc

  • Riding experience: Since 2001 (street), 2004 (track)
  • Racing experience: AFM Open Production, GP, Superbike, and Formula Pacific. AMA Superstock and Superbike. Multiple AFM class champion, top 5 plate holder two years in a row, AMA top 10 finisher
  • Teaching experience: Since 2007 with K@TT
  • Bike types: Suzuki GSXR-1000, Suzuki DRZ125
  • Particular teaching interests: Working on lines, reference markers and giving 2-up rides. Oh yeah, uh, I like to go fast! :-P


Michael Lohmeyer

  • Riding experience: Riding since 1990 (street and dirt), 1995 (track)
  • Racing experience: With the AFM since 1997, 250 Production, 450 Superbike/Formula IV, and Open classes (Open GP, Open Superbike, Formula Pacific). Multi-450 Superbike Champion with wins in 450 Superbike and Formula IV
  • Teaching experience: With K@TT since 2003 (NRS, Race schools, and 2-day schools) - Chief NRS Instructor
  • Schools attended: CLASS
  • Bike types: All types - Current - VFR400, GSXR1000, Previously - EX250, FZR400
  • Particular teaching interests: Having raced both small bikes (250, 400) and a big bike (1000), I like teaching the different riding methods for each and why it matters.

Michael Potts

  • Riding experience: 25+ years total motorcycle experience. 11+ years on the track and racing.
  • Racing experience: AFM Formula 3, on Honda RS 125, Formula 2 on a Honda RS 250, 750 Production & 750 Superbike. AMA pro racing 125 & 250 Grand Prix National Championships. Championship Cup Series on a Honda RS 125, NASB Racing, AMA District 36 Hair Scrambles cross country on a Yamaha YX125!
  • Teaching experience: 4 years with K@TT

Neil Atterbury

Patrick Flora

  • Riding experience: Since 1967 (dirt) (OHMYGOD!), FYI, Linda put that in. Street since 1974, first street bike 71 Honda CB 750 8-) and lived to tell about it.

  • Teaching experience: With K@TTsince 2002, Ski Instructor/Race Coach for a long time!

Phil Rusin

Scott Wilson

  • Riding experience: 24 years on 2 wheels
  • Racing experience: 4 years Motocross (125&250 GFI & CMC), 1 year mini road racing (NCMRRA ysr50), 7 years road racing (AFM, WSMC, AMA 600s, 750s & 1000s). 2003 AFM 750 Superbike champion, 2007 750 Production champion, 2007 Formula I champion, top 15 finishes in AMA FX and top 20 finishes in AMA Superbike.
  • Teaching experience: 1st year with K@TT and 2 years snow ski instructor
  • Schools attended: AFM racing school plus years of advice from KFGs such as Jake Zemke and Ken Hill

Shelina Moreda

  • Riding experience: Grew up riding dirt bikes on our family dairy farm. Rode my first street bike when I was 18 and have been loving it!

Steve Metz

Simon Williams

Svetlana Gorina
